Equipment for Making a Quarry
Generally speaking, the final products in a quarry are stone and sand. The commonly used equipment for making a quarry includes feeding equipment like vibrating feeder, crushing equipment such as jaw crusher, impact crusher and cone crusher, conveying equipment like belt conveyor and screening equipment such as vibrating screen. Among the equipment, impact crusher is often used for the final crushing and reshaping of the final stone materials.
The Production Flow of a Quarry
Large stone materials are evenly sent by the vibrating feeder from the material cabin to jaw crusher for coarse crushing, and the coarsely crushed stone materials are sent by belt conveyor to impact crusher for further crushing. The finely crushed stone materials are sent by belt conveyor to the vibrating screen for screening, and the screened stone materials with qualified granularity are sent by belt conveyor to the material pile and those cannot satisfy the granularity requirement will be sent back by belt conveyor to impact crusher to be crushed again, thus forming a closed-circuit cycle.
Performance of Equipment in a Quarry
The quarrying equipment has high automatic degree, adjustable discharging granularity, high crushing ratio, energy conservancy, high output and good shape of the final stone materials, so that the equipment for making a quarry is suitable for railway, highway and bridge and other big and small-sized project construction.
Selection of Equipment for Making a Quarry
Different crushers have different features and different application ranges. For example, jaw crusher has the biggest crushing capacity, for this reason, the customers can use it to crush some hard stone materials. If it is used for crushing soft stone materials, it will be a waste of its high performance and advantages, and in addition, the crushed final products many contain many powders so that the final products will not satisfy the desired granularity. The commonly used crushing equipment in a stone production line includes jaw crusher, impact crusher and cone crusher.
